Make UBT and drains removable in combat

Honestly it's stupid that you can be gimped through an entire battle by these things with no way to remove them (aside from certain limited prof perks). If you're fighting a half-decent trader who lands a pre-emptive drain on you and then a follow-up drain and/or drain proc, it's pretty much gg. Granted you can run away and use a virus scanner, drains and ubt can be chained and recast constantly throughout a battle. When duelling a trader the outcome of the battle basically comes down to how quickly he can land his drains and cripple you for the whole fight. UBT is nearly as overpowered, especially in duels or in the hands of an agent. For casting profs it will severely cripple you for a solid 2:35 with no chance of removing it without escaping to sit down or being a doc or fixer.

The simplest solution: Make virus scanners usable in combat, or add a first aid item that acts as a weaker form of a virus scanner (basically like how free movements are in relation to purge kits).

The alternative: Give UBT and drains a chance to break on attack in pvp, much like roots and snares. This will still enable crowd control in mass pvp situations without rendering people completely useless in 1v1 situations.


Oh and please delete fears because they're the dumbest thing ever added to this game. Seriously. Or change them so they're not completely inevitable to anyone who's not a Fixer or Keeper.
